Forged knivesThe blades made of stainless steel are forged from one piece (monobloc knife) and hardened throughout. The hardening process ensures good cutting properties and makes it corrosion resistant. |
Cromargan protectThe innovative material finish makes our cutlery extremely resistant to scratches and signs of use. Polished surfaces remain shiny, matte and matte. The cutlery still looks as good as new even after years. Cromargan protect is resistant to food acids, neutral in taste, rust-proof and dishwasher safe. |
Dishwasher safeWMF cutlery is very easy to clean and, unlike conventional cutlery, dishwasher safe according to RAL-RG 604. This seal of approval may only bear cutlery that have undergone a uniform, standardised test procedure and have survived 1000 washes without damage. |
Service ProgramModels of cutlery that are no longer in the current range can be purchased for a period of time. The cutlery is reproduced for a period of time. This is valid until the final expiration date is announced at least one year before. |
Tips for care and rust fly:
Clean your cutlery from coarse food waste after use, and never leave it unrinsed for a long time. Cutlery should not be soaked or left wet.
When washing in the dishwasher, place the cutlery pieces unsorted with the handle facing down in the basket. Remove your cutlery as soon as you have finished the washing cycle and dry it if necessary. If this is not possible, please open the door of the machine so that the steam can remove and no moisture build-up. We recommend that you perform an empty wash cycle after filling your dishwasher with regenerating salt.
In rare cases, traces of rust on the cutlery may occur. This is usually foreign rust that is transferred by other non-rusting objects. This can be easily and completely removed at an early stage with the WMF Purargan care product. If not treated, pitting may occur.
