This CSD sanding disc, cleaning disc is ideal for material-friendly removal of paints, rust, underbody protection, scale, silicone joints and much more. High quality nylon carrier with silicon carbide grain.
Extremely gentle on materials.
Unlike other sanding discs and brushes, you work with a CSD disc very gentle on material, almost no material removal takes place on metal. Only coatings such as varnishes, scale, tarnish colours etc. are removed without removing healthy metal.
Extremely well suited for removing rust and paint removal.
Rust should not be removed with rotating wire brushes in drill or flex/angle grinder. With this method, the rust mixes/smears with the removal of the material of the wire brush and is incorporated into the healthy metal. It then creates a silver/black layer that has a rust-proof effect, but it is not. New rust is pre-programmed. This layer can then no longer be removed.
Post treatment for rust:
For post-treatment in case of rust, we recommend the Rostio rust remover gel to completely remove the rust from the pores. For inaccessible or hard-to-reach areas, such as cavities and folds, we recommend the Rostio rust converter.
