Description
nabitec dry cleaner with container and adjustable retaining bracket for the hand soldering iron.
The dry cleaner is made of a special, very fine copper spiral wool, for gentle, faster and better mechanical cleaning of soldering iron tips than with conventional wet soldering sponges. No smoke, steam, chemical, water or temperature falls, prolonged durability of the soldering tip and sponge.
Reliably removes and prevents oxidation formation on the soldering tip, the use of an additional soldering tip activator or a soldering powder becomes obsolete.
Instructions for use:
To clean the soldering tip, the soldering iron heated to at least 230 °C must only be immersed in the cleaning wool or stripped off. If strong encrustations or a thick passive oxide layer has formed, e.g. by prolonged use of lead-free solder with a wet soldering sponge, the soldering tip must first be regenerated, for this purpose, the soldering iron tip will be set to at least 300°C before immersion in the dry cleaner and wet with a highly activating flux or pure rosin.
After complete cleaning, tin the soldering tips immediately with fresh solder. Repeat the process if necessary.
