For outdoor useIP44 outdoor use When used outdoors, it is recommended to use IP44 or above. The first number "4" means that the product against the penetration of solid foreign bodies of more than 1 mm in size. The second digit "4" indicates that the product is sufficiently sealed and thus protected from splashing water on all sides. |
For indoor useIP20 indoors The IP20 rating means that the product does not have protection against water ingress but against solid objects of more than 12.5 mm diameter. So such a product should only be mounted in completely dry places, for example in dry rooms indoors. |
