How to replace a band saw tire
1. Pull out the band saw, release the saw blade tension and remove the blade. Then remove the band saw wheel.
2. Once removed, remove the old tyre completely and leave the old tyre completely and any residue.
3. Glide the tyre onto the wheel edge, then a short rod or a short bar or a tube between the tyre and the wheel. Roll the tube around the edge once to balance the elasticity of the tyre.
4. Press a small amount of glue on a brush and apply it to the tyre and the wheel surface. Roll and repeat all the way around the edge. Let the glue dry for 24 hours before using the saw again.
