ā—¸Aquaponic bell siphon drainage for approx. 25 cm high growbeds

Description

The Bell Siphon is probably the trickiest and at the same time most refined component of an aquaponics system. It is used for automatic emptying after the flooding process of plant beds. A functioning bell siphon, also called car siphon or bell siphon, brings many advantages and works without electricity, purely by the law of gravity. Why use a Bell Siphon? A bell siphon is used in so-called tide plant beds with a height of between 20-30 cm. By regularly flooding and then emptying your plant beds through the Bell Siphon, the water in the fish tank is continuously enriched with oxygen. This naturally has a positive effect on fish, plants and water quality in general. So you can often do without extra air pumps, depending on the type of fish and system construction. Because when emptied through the Bell Siphon, the bis enriched with oxygen again and again. Thanks to the regular flooding processes, your plants also receive the necessary moisture and nutrient supply.
