Feature

●If you need to cut a narrow piece of stock on a table saw, we know it can be a little spicy or intimidating. Many of us try to cut the piece we need on the outside of the blade instead of dealing with narrow cuts. However, it is sometimes inevitable. In this case, it is recommended that you use a safety device such as a push stick to feed the stock through supply. Push sticks also help you slide a workpiece securely and keep it flat against a tabletop while being cut.
●Designed to keep your hands away from blades or cutters, this push stick is an essential tool for your safety. The push stick prevents your hand from reaching the cutters or blades on table saws, router tables, shapers and joints. The push stick has a 90 degree notch at the end with a relief circle to accept the 90 degree corner of your bearing. The notched end is designed to be at the ideal angle to the handle and allows for even pressure while the shovel passes through the blade.
●One of the most "handy" features of this pushstick is that we have two magnets embedded in the handle. We did this because many of us have a hard time tracking our tools once we are done with them. The embedded magnets solve this problem by placing the push stick directly on metal surfaces such as the side of a table saw cabinet. We have embedded not only one, but two separate magnets on the handle to keep the slider from slipping or accidentally turning.
●The end of the push stick has been deliberately coloured in bright "Safety Orange" for the simple reason to see the stick at any time when in use. This ensures you see exactly where you are placing the push stick in relation to the blade or cutter. The bright color also makes the push stick easy to find when stored.
●The magnetic handle is approx. 12 inches long and has an ergonomically designed handle that provides more precise control and a comfortable grip. The pressure stick also has a hole drilled in the handle, just in case you dont have metal surfaces to place the push stick. The hole allows you to hang the push stick like the rest of your tools. Includes 2 safety push sticks.

Description

Keep your fingers where they belong. . . The safety of our fingers and hands should always be at the top of the list in terms of our woodworking tools and accessories. After all, we cant do much woodwork without them. One way to keep your fingers safer is to use a push rod when pushing through the stick or working with smaller, narrower strips. Push sticks keep your valuable body parts away from the blade or cutter and allow for a smoother, cleaner and best, more controlled cut with proper application. If youve ever had that "fun" feeling when cutting a "free hand", you should reach for a push stick next time you make the same cut. The basic idea behind the push stick is to keep your fingers a long way off the blade or cutter when you run your stock. Remember, its always a good thing to sacrifice a piece of plastic and not one of our precious body parts.
