How fast is the data transfer of the PAXO USB 3.2 Gen2 extension cable?
The data transfer of the USB 3.2Gen2 standard can provide up to 10Gbps - this corresponds to 1.25Gbyte/s or 1250MByte/s
Here the full transfer rate only comes when all involved (host adapter, device, hubs, etc.) master this transmission mode.
In practice, most devices often stand USB 3.1 or 3.2. However, this does not necessarily mean that this device also supports 10 GBit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 2). It can also be only 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1). As a result, the data can be transmitted slowly.
The cable is backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.
