092 Infrared Filter Dark Red 695 The almost black, in front of a light source but dark purple B+W 092 infrared filter 695 blocks the visible light up to 650 nm, and only just under 700 nm it lets 50% through (hence the dark red colour). For 730 nm to 2,000 nm, the transmission is over 90%, so very high. This allows you to take pictures of pure red and infrared images. This IR filter is suitable for most digital cameras. - For experimental photographs - Image results with extremely high black and white contrasts - Green foliage is reproduced bright white - Made in Germany Digital cameras usually have a built-in IR-cut filter in front of their image sensor, but the existing residual sensitization can be used for infrared recordings. This is exactly the gap that the B+W 092 infrared filter 695 and B+W 093 infrared filter 630 take advantage of when the visible light is blocked. The selection of the image section and the infrared-related focusing are done before screwing on the filter, as control in the viewfinder or on the LCD is not possible with the infrared filter attached.
