The NiSi Cinema Rotating 82mm Allure Streak Blue (2mm) is a special effect filter designed to make a single beam of light from a spot light source. This filter features a single row of etched lines that are 2mm apart from each other running across the filter surface. The filter creates the effect of elongated blue stripes horizontally from the light source normally seen when using an anamorphic lens. The 82mm filter has a rotating front (similar to a CPL rotates) and when the filter is rotated, the orientation of the light beam can be adjusted to your composition or desired effect. The filter is made of clear optical glass H-K9L for better image clarity and an aluminium frame.
We recommend focal lengths of 35mm and longer with our strip range to ensure a straight steak from the light source without deformation of the lens.
Etched lines at a distance of 2 mm create a horizontal beam of light from spot light sources, strong highlights, reflective materials or metallic surfaces.
The filter can be rotated to adjust the orientation of the light strip.
Optical glass construction maintains original image quality and does not affect overall color or contrast
