The JRM0508A and JRM0508T devices are multi-switches for fully receiver-fed distribution networks for a satellite system. With a new energy-efficient power management concept, a single receiver is able to power both the multiswitch and the connected Quatro LNB. This means that no power supply is required and there are no standby losses. A conventional legacy receiver with 14V/18V/22kHz control can be operated on each of the 8 outputs. The JRM0508A has trunk line/cascade outputs, the JRM0508T is fully terminated (as a single or termination device). The power requirement per receiver does not increase due to cascading.
