The Coral Hard Edge Color Graduated Effect filter has a pale pink color. Coral filters can be considered as both color correction and color effect filters and are used to warm cool lighting situations such as cloudy days. They are available in 3 densities, 1,2 and 3. These filters are clear in the lower half of the filter with a gradual transition to the color effect in the upper half. They are mainly used for skylines of landscape shots. Graduated filters are available in soft edge or hard edge variants. Soft edge gradations have a smooth transition from clear to ND. Hard edge graduations have a more defined hard-lined transition and are usually used for longer focal lengths. Different graduated color filters can be used in combination together or with full-color or neutral density filters to achieve interesting tailored effects. This 100mm filter can be used with Hi-Tech 100mm mounting systems or any 100mm mount. The filter is also available in sizes 85mm, 150mm and 165mm. Hi-tech filters are made from high quality 1.5mm optical resin.
