A ring nut is a combination of a ring and a nut. It is used for fastening in e.g. transport.

Thanks to the ring nut, the connection has a certain mobility.

In order to ensure full load capacity, the nut should be fully screwed on and lie fully in place. A washer should be inserted between the ring nut and the support.
