Cap nuts are nuts closed on one side. Rust and dirt therefore have no chance due to repelling moisture at the screw end. Furthermore, damage to the screw or threaded rod and injuries caused by covering an often sharp end is prevented.

The cap nut DIN 986 is a hexagonal nut with non-metallic clamping part.

Thanks to the A2 stainless steel, the nut offers a very high rust resistance and is ideal for outdoor use.
