Smooth, bright birch dowels flat on both ends. Sanded to a smooth, polished finish. The dowels are natural and untreated, ready for staining, painting, drilling, cutting, etc.

Warning:
Birch dowels are a natural product, variations in colour and pattern may occur.
Dowels can be prone to minor warping. This affects the thinner dowels 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm. The dowels can usually be bent back into shape or tilted. While we strive to avoid warped dowels, larger packs should be expected with an occasional warped dowel.
Although these dowels are of the highest quality, the odd dowels have picked up a notch, dents, roughness, etc. during the manufacturing process and would not be considered a fault.
The dowels are natural birch hardwood and untreated making them safe for food applications, cake supports etc.
The 3.4 and 5mm dowels are cut indoors and are usually 1mm to 2mm below 300mm and may be slightly rough due to the saw cut at the end.
