Smooth bright birch dowels flat on both ends. Sanded to a smooth, polished finish. The dowels are natural and untreated, ready for staining, painting, drilling, cutting, etc.
Excellent for a variety of arts and crafts, modelling, projects, furniture making, etc.

Warning:
Birch dowels are a natural product, variations in colour and pattern may occur.
Dowels can be prone to minor deformation. This affects the thinner dowels 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm. The dowels can usually be bent / teased into shape. While we strive to avoid warped dowels, occasional warped dowels should be expected in larger packs.
While these dowels are of the highest quality, the odd dowels have picked up a notch, dent, roughness, etc. during the manufacturing process and would not be considered a fault.
The dowels are made of natural birch hardwood and untreated, making them safe for food applications, cake supports, etc.
The 3.4 and 5mm dowels are cut indoors and are usually 1mm to 2mm below 300mm and may have a low roughness at the end due to the saw cut.
