Feature

●Originally developed as a multi-area blind rivet, the GESIPA PolyGrip has developed a lot of other talents in its career that now makes it a favourite when it comes to fulfilling difficult and demanding applications in the industrial environment
●Whether in aluminium, steel or stainless steel, indoors or outdoors, with hard or soft joint, critical hole diameter and tolerances: if no other can do it, the GESIPA PolyGrip is almost always the rescuing solution
●A PolyGrip blind rivet has such a large clamping range that it can replace up to five different dimensions of DIN standard blind rivets
●Another advantage is the excellent perforation. This means that the rivet shaft radially deformes during the setting process and compensates for drill hole inaccuracies, centre offset and diameter differences to form a play-free and tight connection
●Technical details: rivet shaft diameter 4 mm, shear force 1060 N, tensile force 1680 N, flat round head, drill hole diameter 4.1 mm, material: galvanised steel rivet, material: hollow rivet, aluminium alloy, setting head diameter max. 8 mm, clamping range 0.5 - 6.5 mm, rivet shaft length 10 mm

Description

Gesipa PolyGrip

The favourite for difficult and demanding applications in the industrial environment for all materials

The GESIPA PolyGrip, originally developed as a multi-range blind rivet has developed a lot of other talents in its career, which now distinguishes it a favourite when it comes to meeting difficult and demanding applications in the industrial environment. Whether in aluminium, steel or stainless steel, indoors or outdoors, with hard or soft joint, critical hole diameter and tolerances: when no other can do, the GESIPA PolyGrip is almost always the saving solution.

Main features: Excellent hole design

The rivet shaft deforms radially during the setting process, thus compensating for bore hole inaccuracies, center offset and diameter differences to form a play-free and tight connection.

Secure residual mandrel locking PolyGrip blind rivets do not cause rattling noise caused by freed residual mandrels, nor there is a risk of residual mandrel loss.

The PolyGrip blind rivets are splash-proof even under certain conditions. They offer an economical alternative to closed blind rivets with their good perforation properties and the residual mandrel locking. When it comes to avoiding water passing through the connection, PolyGrip blind rivets are an ideal choice.

Wide locking head formation ensures high tensile strength values and thus a high level of safety.
