This DIY kit can be installed by anyone with just one Allen key and some cable cutters. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS ALREADY INCLUDED: 3 1/8" 1 x 19 stainless steel cable with a 7-1/2 threaded terminal with the machine pressed on one side, a swiftcatch that maintains and protects the bare end of the cable for clamping and locking cutting nut, a flat stainless steel washer and two end caps. These kits the need for accurate determination lengths and crimping.
The cable and fittings are made of type 316 stainless steel. This classification of steel is marine grade and offers excellent durability and resilience to be worn in harsh weather conditions. The threaded connection with 5-1/2-inch thread allows apt tension for the while the swiftcatch keeps the stainless steel cable even when buckled on the other end. The ends are well hidden in the end.
