Description

The RIDGID Earth Pipe Cutter 69982 for Confined Areas is a compact lightweight device designed for cutting/cracking underground pipe (with and without hubs) in confined areas and makes this work easier. At only 43 cm in length, it is a particularly small underground pipe cutter and is perfect for overhead work and for applications directly on a wall. The chain pipe cutter is designed for safe and easy use and features a unique hook mechanism with rotating hooks that allow fast, secure and easy locking. Perfect for cutting/cracking pipes from cement, clay and cast sewage pipes in confined areas. This underground pipe cutter is versatile and features a multi-adjustable feed spindle with a hand wheel for quick adjustment. For use, a 15 inch (380 mm) long 1/2 inch (13 mm) ratchet is included. If necessary, it can also be operated with a 1/2 inch (13 mm) ratchet or a 15/16 (24 mm) wrench. With its simple yet robust design, this tool offers maximum service life with minimal maintenance. This pipe cutter has a pipe capacity of 1 1/2" to 6" (40 to 150 mm). With an additional chain extension (sold separately), pipes up to a nominal diameter of 8" (200 mm) can be cut. If only clay tubes are cut, the chain extension can cut clay tubes of up to 15 inches (380 mm).
