The adjustable nut allows the user to resize the jaws with one hand without having to unscrew the screw, slide the jaws up and down, and then screw back into the frame. The thumb screw is knurled for better grip.

Footprint stellt seit dem 18. Jahrhundert Handwerkzeuge in Großbritannien her. Sie stellen die meisten ihrer Werkzeuge weiterhin in ihrer Fabrik in Sheffield her.
