This is the classic design where the deflector faces downwards - probably your new inlet deflector looks very different from the one it replaces. Thats because Shop Vac made two different designs with different functionality. Both designs will fit your vehicle, one design is installed with the wind deflector from left to right, the other is top and bottom. This means it doesnt have to change direction when switching between wet and dry pickup.
