Description

Safety device with multiple function model DGN for securing on the bottle pressure reducer, at removal points and gas distributors.

Safety device DGN according to EN 730-1, ISO 5175: avoids dangerous gas mixture formation through a gas return valve (NV).
• Stops flame setbacks thanks to a flame barrier (FA).
• Interrupts the gas flow by an integrated thermal postflow barrier before reaching a predetermined temperature (TV)
• A dirt filter protects the gas return valve from dirt.
• Each safety device is 100% tested.
• All metallic components are made of brass 2.0401 / spring 1.4310.

• NV gas return valve.
• FA flame arrester
• TV temperature-controlled after-flow barrier.
Additional functional element: • DF dirt filter.

Maintenance:
The safety devices must be tested at certain time intervals by a trained and authorised person in accordance with country-specific regulations. At least once a year, the safety device must be tested for leakage, flow and safety against gas leakage (according to TRBS 1201, table 2 - "proven test deadlines for recurring tests").

The safety devices must not be opened.

Thread connection: input G1/4RH union nut (female thread), output G1/4RH male thread.

Flow values: The flow values depend on many factors such as the type of gas used, the pre-pressure and the pressure losses on site (sample curves can be found in the data sheet on the manufacturers website)
