Description

PFERD grinding disc is made of normal aluminium oxide in a vitrified connection. These products are particularly suitable for HSS (HSS), steel, cast steel and cast iron. Application: deburring on semi-finished steel and cast products. Regrinding and sharpening HSS tools such as drills and rotary tools. Various maintenance applications. Application recommendations: If a grinding wheel begins to stress marks, use sharpening stones on page 28. Suitable tool drives are table and base grinders. Safety information: The maximum speed is calculated according to ANSI B7.1. Never exceed the maximum speed indicated on the rim labels. Attention: smaller spindles often run at higher rpm. Before assembly, all wheels are visually checked for damage and cracks. Perform the ring test before assembly. An undamaged wheel provides clear sound. Specification: 6 inch diameter; 3/4 inch thick; 1 inch mounting hole; 80 grit; 4140 RPM maximum rotation speed.
