Description

The 3M Xtract Cubitron film disc 775L has a patented 3M multi-hole hole hole that provides better dust extraction when finishing. Part of the 3M Xtract series, the optimum in dust removal and performance. Our innovative multi-hole punching ensures better dust extraction than products with five or six holes - improving removal and significantly increasing service life. With this design, there is no need to align them with the holes of the sanding plate, making disc changes quick, easy and convenient. The disc features the 3M precision molded ceramic grit, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to cut through the substrate instead of grouting or plowing it like traditional abrasives. This means that the disc has twice as fast removal and a service life up to six times longer compared to standard discs. The film backing material provides excellent tear resistance and flexibility and allows for a uniform and uniform finish on different substrates. These discs are ideal for many different applications where material removal is essential. They can be used particularly well on numerous substrates, especially metals, composites, gel coatings and whitewood. The film backing material provides better tear resistance than paper discs for added durability and edge stability. The best results can be achieved together with 3M Xtract random orbital sanders. An open dispersion provides more space between the abrasive grains, making dust and other abrasive particles easier to dissipate instead of adding the cutting edge of the grains. The dust-repellent coating allows the disc to grind softwoods, varnishes and other materials for longer that would otherwise clog the disc and affect the grinding ability. All this ensures higher productivity and lower material consumption. If dust cannot clog the cutting edge of the abrasives, sandpaper discs provide stronger and faster removal. The patented multi-hole punching on our 3M Xtract products removes dust faster than products with five or six holes. This hole design does not need to be aligned with the holes of the sanding plate. This makes quick and easy disc changes possible. Use this disc together with a 3M Xtract backing pad and an orbital sander with extraction (both sold separately) to ensure optimal dust extraction.
