For the Ernie Ball Medium Scale Bass Strings, we use the same production methods and materials as for our popular Slinky Nickel Wound bass strings. With a consistent Slinky feel and clear, balanced tone, these strings have been specially designed for bass with a scale up to 32.5 inches (82.55 cm), but also fit bass with shorter scale and string-through bridge, for example on vintage Fender Mustangs.
