Do not turn on the spindle motor when using the photoelectric edge button
The photoelectric edge probe uses the photoelectric principle and the workpiece must be electrically conductive, otherwise it cannot be used. In addition, the circuit is formed by the spindle, bed and workpiece.
When moving from one side of the workpiece to the other side, the edge probe should be lifted.
When the workpiece is in contact, the minimum distance near the workpiece should be observed to improve accuracy.
Due to the concentricity deviation of the ball part of the edge gauge, errors are avoided by measuring one edge, then turning the gauge 180° and measuring the other edge (making sure that the same point of the gauge touches the workpiece). To measure an edge, measure it once, turn it half a turn, measure it again, add the two results and divide by 2.
