Description

Easy steps to use the hand impact screwdriver:

Step 1: Install the bit adapter and the bit or corresponding socket on the tool.

Step 2: Hold the tool firmly in your left hand (if you are right-handed).

Step 3: Insert the fixed screw or bolt.

Step 4: Apply the pressure down while simultaneously trying to turn the impact wrench in the direction you want to turn the screw. This is usually counterclockwise to loosen, tighten clockwise.

Step 5: hit the tip of the impact wrench with a hammer. Wear heavy gloves to minimize injury if you accidentally hit your hand with the hammer.

Step 6: Continue to strike the tool while applying pressure and turn on the force until the bolt is loosened enough to use a faster tool such as a socket wrench and a ratchet wrench.

Tip:

Hand impact drivers are ideal for loosening stuck screws, but to avoid damage to the screw, make sure to remove all dirt from the screw slot.

Warning:

As with all tools that are meant to be hit with a hammer, be sure to wear safety goggles when using a hand impact wrench.
