Wire rope pliers can be used to independently back a cable around a loop. a recommended minimum of 3 clamps or clips are tensioned so that the end of the cable cannot slip out.
The clamp consists of a U-bolt, a saddle and 2 nuts. The parts are made of galvanised steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability.
Some examples of applications in which these are used are: suspension floating shade sails, ceilings, safety pipe, posts, squaring the circle fence gate, laundry lines, banners, anchoring fitness accessories, anchoring and many other applications.
Tip: Use a 13mm socket/nut driver to tighten the nuts. Drill can be used, but make sure not too tight as the wire will warp.
Should you never use malleable clamps in critical applications, because they can bend, stretch or other processing defects. Should only drop forged clamps used for critical applications, such as overhead lifting or suspension
Tip: "Saddle A Dead Horse" U-BUEGEL-Never over the Live Line never put a clamp with the saddle on the dead side of the cable. Only the U-shaped should be on the dead side of the cable, where crushing will not affect the breaking load of the hoist.
