Spax GIX-D drywall screws, 3.5 x 25 mm, fully threaded, pack of 1000
Compared to the simple slotted force attack, the simple Phillips power application (also Philips drive) offers the advantage that the tool blade of the screwdriver no longer slip out to the side and thus damage the workpiece. However, due to the tapering of the inner flanks in the cross slot, an axial force occurs when the screw is tightened, which pushes the blade out of the force attack. This phenomenon is also called the cam-out effect. We integrate the Phillips H force attack with our window construction screws (FEX), as the screw-in torque is not so high.
