Feature

●Finishing nail – has a small, slightly rounded head that is only slightly larger than the nail shaft. The head is designed to accommodate the pointed tip of a nail set, making it easier to sink the nail without slipping and hollowing out the wood.
●Universal use – is often used outdoors, e.g. B. for the installation of exterior panels and for nailing door frames and trims. They are usually galvanised and therefore corrosion resistant.
●Advantages: the nail head of a formwork nail is conical and can be attached flush or just below the wooden surface.
●Zinc-coated – galvanised steel nails are steel nails coated with a zinc-based product. This means that a galvanized steel nail has all the properties of a steel nail, but with added benefits. The zinc coating provides extra protection and durability and prevents the formation of rust for a long time.
●Installation – Use a power tool or a hammer. Well suited for oak, birch, walnut and other hardwoods. Size - 1.6 mm nail diameter and nail length - 40 mm. Pack of 250

Description

Brad nails or finish nails?

Finishing nails are made from heavier gauge 15 or 16 wire and can therefore bear a higher payload. For larger trims, such as skirting boards or wreath strips, a finish nail is better. The nail provides more grip and pull-out resistance compared to the pin nail, making it the better choice for mounting larger cladding and woodwork.

As it leaves a more visible hole in the surface, a completely hammered nail almost always needs to be reworked e.g. by overkitting to cover the "shiner" (the exposed impact point of a nail).

Finishing Nailers - Finishing Nailers are not as brutal as roofing or framing nailers. That doesnt mean theyre not powerful, theyre just a little more agile in comparison. This feature makes this gun an excellent tool for "finishing" carpenters work.
