Description
Specially designed for 2D and 3D CNC profiling and carving in plastic, aluminum and wood using CNC machines. The high-shear ball tips cut smooth 2D and 3D contours with reduced step, while the proprietary ZRN coating (applied by the physical vapor deposition process) provides high wear resistance, sharper cutting edges, longer life and less friction and heat build-up. Some of the Amana Tool carving tools, as you can estimate, have a very small diameter, so all material chips must reflect this small size. However, it can withstand speeds up to 60,000 RPM. A directional blast of air to keep chips out and cool the tool and workpiece are always welcome. Tools are manufactured with high balance that allows them to run up to 60,000 RPM.
