●TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION Petzl helmets go beyond the industry standard by focusing only on impacts on the top of the head. The Petzl helmets guarantee a certain level of protection against impacts on the top, sides, front and back of the head, providing enhanced protection for all types of unexpected impacts.
●Omega headband: designed with a distinctive notch in the back. Designed to fit easily while wearing a ponytail.
●Fully lined with foam – the interior of the Borea is completely lined with EPP and EPS foam. These foams, which work in conjunction with the outer shell, help the Borea provide even shock absorption throughout the helmet.
●Hybrid construction – The Borea helmet combines a thick outer shell made of ABS (for durability) with an EPS foam inner lining (to increase comfort and reduce weight). The Borea also sits lower at the back of the head to additionally protect against bumps on the back of the head.
●USE ANYWHERE The soft headband fits the shape of the head well and folds into the shell for storage and transport. Suitable for various activities such as climbing, mountaineering, caving, via ferrata and canyoning.

A versatile, robust helmet specially designed for women with increased head protection for climbing and mountaineering: the Borea from Petzl is suitable for climbing, mountaineering, speleology, via ferrata, canyoning etc. The hybrid construction allows for a compact design that surrounds the head. The helmet has reinforced impact protection on the sides as well as in the front and back of the head. The hard, shock-resistant and scratch-resistant outer shell to optimise the service life can also convince as well as the flexible headband that adapts perfectly to the shape of the head and is equipped with a cut-out for the ponytail. The headband can be stored in the helmet shell for transport and when not in use. The optimised volume on the head and the large ventilation openings make the Borea from Petzl a comfortable helmet for all activities.
