●Our fixed plate dance pole is safe for home studio use and will fit ceilings from 2.23m to 2.74m with a diameter of 45mm. The package includes 2 extension poles and a height adjuster, but please make sure you measure your ceiling height and choose the right size rod.
●Before you start assembling the mast, make sure you have enough clearance around the pole, a stable base and the necessary tools and parts. You will need a drill, screws, dowels, a spirit level, a tape measure and a ladder or stool if your ceiling is high. It is also recommended to clean the area and remove any obstacles or dangers that could affect the dance.
●Mark and drill the holes (only on the ceiling). Once you have found the best place for your rod, mark the places where you will drill the holes. The holes should be drilled at equal intervals and aligned with the centre of the rod. Use a spirit level to ensure the mast is vertical and not crooked. Then drill the holes with a drill of the appropriate size and insert the dowels if necessary.
●Mount the top plates. The top plates are the components that attach your mast to the ceiling and floor. Attach the top plate to the ceiling with the screws and a wrench or pliers. Make sure the plates sit firmly and are flush with the surface.
●Assemble the pole and test it. After you have mounted the top plates, you now need to connect and lock the mast parts together. Follow the manufacturers instructions, place the lower base on the floor and tighten the mast extension. When you put the pole together, shake it lightly and check its stability. If it wobbles or bends, you may need to adjust the screws or mast extension.
