Description:
The LCD1602 is an industrial drawing LCD that can display 16x2 or 32 characters at the same time.
The principle of the LCD1602 liquid crystal display is to use the physical properties of the liquid crystal to control the display area by voltage, i.e. the graphics can be displayed.
The 1602 uses a standard 16-pin interface, and our display module is a module that provides I2C functionality.
I2C uses only two bi-directional open-drain leads, Serial Data Line (SDA) and Serial Clock Line (SCL) that are pulled up with resistors. Typical voltages used are +5V or +3.3V, although systems with other voltages are allowed. It can be operated as long as it supports the I2C development board.
For example, the common Ar-Duino, Raspberry Pi, Stm32 and so on.

How to connect it to Raspberry Pi and Ar-duino
Compatibility:
Used to connect Ar-duino and Raspberry Pi and can be used to display real-time clock, temperature, humidity, etc.
(A potentiometer is also necessary to adjust the contrast. Working voltage: Only 5 V)
You can view the digital information or English phrases on the LCD screen by using Arduino, Raspberry Pi or any other MCU that supports the i2c protocol.

0x27 for PCF8574T chip; 0x3F for PCF8574AT chip; please check which chip you have on i2c interface.
