Features:
This board/chip uses an I2C 7-bit address between 0x60 and 0x80, selectable with jumpers.
3-pin connectors in groups of 4, allowing you to connect 16 servos at the same time (servo plugs are slightly wider than 0.1 inch, so you can only stack 4 side by side on a 0.1 inch plug.
Chain-ready design.
220 Ohm series resistors on all output lines to protect them and make controlling LEDs easy
Solder bridges for the 6 address selector pins.
i2c controlled PWM driver with built-in clock Unlike the TLC5940 family, you dont have to constantly send it signals that block your microcontroller, it runs completely free!
It is 5V compatible, which means you can control it via a 3.3V microcontroller and still safely control up to 6V outputs (this is good if you want to control white or blue LEDs with 3.4+ forward voltages).
6 address selection pins so you can wire up to 62 of them on a single i2c bus, total 992 outputs - thats a lot of servos or LEDs
Adjustable frequency PWM up to approx. 1.6 kHz.
12-bit resolution for each output - for servos this means about 4us resolution at 60Hz refresh rate
Configurable push-pull or open-drain output
Output activation pin to quickly disable all outputs
