• Connect over I2C and control GPIO pins easily.
• Supports up to 8 expanders on one bus, adding up to 64 GPIOs.
• IRQ output for automatic input change alerts.
• Each pin can be an input with light pull-up or an output sink.
• No pin direction register. Pins have two possible states:
• • Lightly pulled up input for high logic level reading.
  • Strong 20mA low-driving transistor sink output for low logic level.
• Compatible with Arduino PCF8574 library or CircuitPython/Python PCF8574 library.

Designed for easy interfacing, it features the STEMMA QT form factor, compatible with SparkFun Qwiic I2C connectors for solderless connections.
