Description

Comfortable and comfortable on the road whether in winter or summer.

Our FSB-C bicycle saddle covers are made of merino lambskin and woven fur on the side.

The lambskin in the area of the seat has a warm effect thanks to the natural air cushion of the lambskin in winter and temperature-regulating in summer, a possible build-up of heat between the seat and saddle is significantly reduced.

The processed lambskin is particularly dense, durable and cuddly. The wool height is approx. 25 mm.

The cover is simply attached to the saddle and remains securely fixed to the saddle thanks to an elastic border and a Velcro fastener.

After the ride, the cover can be quickly disassembled or – if you do not always want to do this – simply protect it from rain and moisture with a plastic saddle protector.

The FSB-C bicycle saddle cover is available in three standard sizes (suitable for many bicycles and ergometres):

(I) 27 x 19 cm (II) 27 x 23 cm (III) 28 x 15 cm.

Long bike rides often cause aching bones or painful pressure points on the buttocks. These consequences are particularly unpleasant and can be felt over several days. With the lambskin bicycle saddle cover, bone pain and pressure points can be easily prevented. The lambskin is particularly soft and comfortable, and it is temperature-regulating, meaning that the air can circulate between the body and lambskin, so there is no annoying sweat formation on the buttocks and trousers. The beautiful thing is that you sweat less on lambskin. Contrary to many prejudges, you can also use the saddle cover made of lambskin in summer. So you have a much more pleasant feeling on lambskin than on plastic or leather saddles, where the air does not circulate, so the air is accumulated and you sweat. Make your bike tour a pain-free and sweat-free experience.

Care instructions:

The unique structure of the wool fibre gives products made of lambskin a natural durability and robustness. Wool is an animal fibre whose scales are arranged similar to a pine cone. Foreign substances can adhere poorly and come off the wool fibre by movement. Regular knocking, shaking, vacuuming, brushing and airing are the best measures to enjoy your lambskin products for a long time.

For coloured skins, make sure to avoid direct sunlight. Dyed skins may fade and lose colour due to regular UV exposure. This can not occur with naturally coloured undyed skins.

Smaller soiling.

Smaller stains and spills should be cleaned quickly with a sponge or damp cloth with little lukewarm water and a pinch of dishwashing liquid. You should focus on the wool fibres and not on the leather. The leather part of the fur usually does not tolerate well with water and soap, so washing lambskin is not recommended. The exception is specially tanned skins, which are marked accordingly.

Brush out dried small dirt with an animal grooming brush, for particularly curly fur (e.g. Tibet) work better with a normal hair brush.

Larger soiling.

For larger soiling, we recommend professional dry cleaning.

We generally do not recommend washing sheepskin. The fur can be destroyed. The exception is specially tanned skins that are marked accordingly. For washable furs, we recommend washing them only if necessary and particularly carefully: max. 30 °C, ideally hand wash, otherwise gentle cycle, fur detergent (e.g. Lanasil), do not dry near heat sources, pull into shape when dry.
