Pure wood pulp is extracted from crushed wood in a sophisticated cooking process. Thanks to an environmentally-friendly solvent spinning process, fibres are produced from the pulp. These fibres can then be processed into a wide range of products. Lyocell is moisture-regulating = moisture transport is up to 50 % better than with synthetic fibres (synthetic fibres do not absorb moisture) and cotton. Lyocell is skin-friendly = the smooth fibre surface promotes a pleasant feeling on the skin, making it highly recommended for people with sensitive skin. Lyocell is hygienic = bacteria have no chance with the fibre. Moisture is immediately wicked away into the interior of the fibre. This prevents any film of moisture building up on the fibre and acting as the basis for bacteria formation. Tested for harmful substances in accordance with Öko-Tex Standard 100, 04.0.7511 Hohenstein. Care: washable up to 60 °C and tumble dryer-safe.
