How do I clean my humidifier?
We recommend that you clean the humidifier every three days. This may sound like a lot of work, but it is worth avoiding the dreaded humidification lungs.
1. Pull the plug and disassemble the humidifier.
2. Fill the tank with water as usual, but add 2 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar (citric acid powder or similar weak acid can also be used).
3. Leave this mixture in the tank for 30 minutes.
4. Empty the humidifier and use a cleaning brush and cloth to clean all areas with additional debris.
5. Rinse all parts and let them dry for 30 to 60 minutes before using the humidifier again.
