Lightweight hybrid mountain ice axe. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand both when ascending and descending. Its strong, aggressive steel blade penetrates steep or glacier ice very easily. With sharpened shovel for effective step strikes and slat hooks as well as straight shaft for easy insertion and secure standing.
- Certification: CE EN 13089, B; UIAA 152.
- Comfortable to hold thanks to the ergonomically shaped head.
- Aggressive 3 mm blade fits reliably in ice and snow.
- Good anchoring thanks to balanced weight distribution with centre of gravity in the injection cast steel head.
- Straight shaft for good penetration into the snow and secure stand construction (T-anchor).
- Sharpened shovel for effective step strikes and slat hooks.
- Compatible with the self-locking Salewa hand rest and sling.
- Openings on the pimple head and lower shaft end for hanging on the carabiner.
