This painting is one of the four portraits of women that Leonardo painted. In the foreground is a lady with a precious robe, parted hair and short braid. On her arm, she holds a bright white ermine. The background is very dark, so it comes into its own.

Our canvas pictures are 100% handmade and made in Germany, stretched on a real wooden frame and printed from environmentally friendly ink.

Available in sizes 40 x 30 cm, 80 x 60 cm and 120 x 90 cm.

Leonardo da Vinci

* April 15, 1452 Anchiano at Vinci 2 May 1519 Amboise

The Italian painter, architect, engineer, sculptor, mechanic and natural philosopher is one of the most famous polyhistorians (universal scholars) in history. He is considered a universal genius as he was revolutionary in all fields. Particularly advanced and groundbreaking was his dissection of corpses in the morgue of a hospital, which gave insights on human anatomy. As an artist, Da Vinci was one of the most famous painters of the Renaissance alongside Titian, Raphael, and Michelangelo. One of his best-known works, the Mona Lisa is the most discussed painting in art history. Other well-known works include the Lords Supper, the Lady with the Ermine and the Vitruvian Man.
