The cutlery set eat.it
Designed by Wiel Arets, the eat.it cutlery range consists of small but not minimal cutlery, sober and elegant, economical and attractive at the same time. The cutlery eat. It made of stainless steel is ideal for everyday use and for the formalities in small together. The special shape proposed by the author allows the three cutlery of the table top - knife, spoon and fork - to be placed on top of each other, which almost suggests a new type of table setting.

Wiel Arets
The Dutch architect Wiel Arets was born in 1955 in Heerlen. After his diploma from the Technical University of Eindhoven in 1983, he founded the office in Heerlen, Wiel Arets Architect & Associates, based in Maastricht in 1996. From 1986 to 1989 he taught at the Art Academies of Amsterdam and Rotterdam and from 1988 to 1992 at the Architectural Association in London. He was a guest professor at Columbia University as well as the Cooper Union in New York, and held the chair Mies van der Rohe at ETSAB in Barcelona. His most important works include the Art and Architecture Academy in Maastricht (1990-93) and the headquarters of the AZL Retirement Fund in Heerlen (1990-95). Bettina Kraus was born in Nuremberg in 1970 and has been a partner of the Wiel Aret office since 2000. Her training at the ETH in Zurich as well as at the HdK in Berlin and diploma in 1996 at the Technical University in Stuttgart.

The Alessi company opened in 1921 as a "Technical Workshop for the Processing of Brass and Nickel Silver Plates, with Foundry" has always been known for the upscale quality of its products.

Non-metal objects are manufactured in different production sites worldwide. They are and remain original Alessi objects, because they are based on the same high-class approach to design and the same pursuit of quality that distinguish all of the companys products.
