Item description:
Measuring tool for measuring water hardness in degrees German hardness (°dH). The measuring cutlery is sufficient for approx. 300°dH, i.e. with a total hardness of 10°dH, about 30 titrations can be performed.
How it works:
The hardness is measured by adding a green coloured solution to the 5 ml water sample. The number of drops until the colour of the water changes from red to green gives the degree of German hardness (titration principle). The accuracy of the water hardness measurement is 1°dH at 5ml sample volume and 0.5°dH at 10ml.
After each drop, the test tube must be slightly swivelled.

Ideal for quickly determining the water hardness of drinking water, well and pool water or other measurements.
