The large number of TLR tuned parts and the bodywork already painted in a bold racing colour scheme immediately set this model apart from its ready-to-run brother, the TYPHON 6S BLX 4WD Speed Buggy. The TLR Tuned TYPHON 4WD Race Buggy Scooter is the ultimate ARRMA buggy in 1:8 scale and ready straight out of the box for racing use. However, it is still robust enough to put away off-road bashing. All you have to do is install the 4S or 6S brushless drive of your choice and you can handle any terrain with ease with the TLR Tuned TYPHON.
The durable TLR Tuned Aluminum upgrades include the chassis plate, steering linkage, adjustable upper and lower suspension fixings, shock absorber housing, as well as front and rear shock absorber bridges. All parts are finished with a laser etched TLR Tuned logo. The chassis is reinforced by strong plastic side panels and front and rear struts, and the oil-filled adjustable shock absorbers feature specially shaped machined pistons and Extreme Bash (EXB) stand-offs.
The heavy-duty drivetrain of the TLR Tuned TYPHON 4WD Race Buggy Scooter withstands extreme bashing, while the all-metal diff outputs and gearboxes together with the particularly durable steel drive shafts ensure reliable power transmission. Its extra strong wheel hubs accommodate the aerodynamically optimised rims on which the engineers of ARRMA dBoots Exabyte tyres with a multi-terrain racing compound for grip on a new level. A race-ready adjustable rear spoiler provides contact pressure and keeps the buggy reliably on the ground for secure control and responsive handling at high speeds.
Maintenance work is reduced to a minimum thanks to the driver-friendly design. For example, the guided motor mount made of aluminium offers you quick and easy access to the engine.
