The Army Painters premium acrylic warpaint range has been specially designed for easy application and complements both our paint primer sprays and our Quickshades! Our 100% colour match ensures that war paintings and colour primers match perfectly with the same names to facilitate touch-up and overall painting. Warpaints come in soft 18ml bottles with a precise drip design, making it easy to apply paint in exact quantities without drying out due to exposure to air. With the dropper design, you dont have to worry about bottles falling over and spilling. The nozzle design works perfectly to pick up the colour. Our range of Warpaints offers you a wide range of options when painting Wargaming miniatures. It consists of more than 100 different Warpaints and requires minimal mixing - just choose the colours you want from the range and start painting your Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons, Star Wars models, or whatever tablet game you always play. Our paints are non-toxic and safe to use for anyone who is just starting with miniature painting, as well as for the advanced hobbyist who cares for their health without compromising on the quality of their tools.

Kern WarpaintsWarpaints are designed to be easy to use and allow you to prepare your models quickly and efficiently for the wargaming table. For our warpaints, we use heavy pigments that ensure optimal coverage, so you can paint with fewer coats for a faster paint application. The pigmentation is very fine, so Warpaints can also be diluted and processed with airbrush or glazes. |
WashesOur range of Warpaints also includes our very popular Quickshade washes with the red bottle caps. These colours are used to quickly add shades to your miniatures, and are therefore thinner than normal colours. They should be washed on your miniatures, after which the paint dries and accumulates in the wells, creating the effect of shade and depth. |
MetallicsNo paint assortment is complete without metallics. Ours have a black bottle stopper and are available in many different tones to suit every needs, whether you need to paint gold, silver, bronze, copper or even coloured metallics for that magical weapon effect. |
EffectsDont be fooled by the white bottle cap of these effect colours - they behave different from our regular warpaints and have different consistencies to achieve the right effects. For example, Disgusting Slime is a thick and shiny colour, while Dry Rust is fuzzy and matte. These colours are designed to give your miniatures a special effect! |

Shake firstWhen you buy Warpaints, the paint inside may have slightly dissolved. So to have a good experience, you need to shake them a little vigorously. This is because the heavy pigment can separate from the medium used to tie the acrylic paint. You may be able to add a few mixing balls by removing the pipette and inserting it for easier mixing. |
Then squeezeWhen you press the bottle for the first time after shaking, it is normal to see some clear acrylic medium with little to no pigment in it - this is completely normal. Simply squeeze out this separated medium and put the cap back on the bottle |
Shake againWhen the separated medium is ejected, continue and shake the bottle again - for best results, we recommend shaking it for about 30 seconds. |
Colour readyNow your Warpaint should be completely ready to paint. Visually, you should see almost no separation of pigment and medium. Press a few drops on your palette and dilute the paint with a little water so that it flows well from the brush. Now you are ready to paint |
Whether you are an absolute beginner or a veteran of the wargaming scene, the Warpaints range of colours is available for you. Often you will find that buying a paint set in a box is cheaper than buying individual colours, making these sets a great bargain when you are on the market for warpaints. Most of our warpaints kits contain a mix of different types of colours to cover a variety of applications. For example, the Wargames Hobby Starter Paint Set was designed as a perfect introduction to the world of hobby painting, consisting of 10 Warpaints and a brush. Of these ten Warpaints is one metallic colour and another is a Quickshade Wash that allows you to quickly dip your toes into the different types of Warpaints if you want to expand your collection!
At the other end of the spectrum you may find the Wargamers Complete Paint Set, consisting of 124 of our full range of Core Warpaints and five brushes. Some of our most popular sets are the two Mega Paint sets, which offer great value for money and are also a great introduction to the world of painting. Last but not least, you can also find sets with special warpaints that are nowhere else - such as the Skin Tones Paint Set, a theme set with many special colours.
