Description

Play sand according to DIN EN 71/3.
The play sand sold by us is washed quartz sand, which, as the name already suggests, consists mostly of quartz grains. The chemical or bacterial nature of our play sand complies with DIN EN 71/3. This European standard, which has been adopted into the German Standardwork, describes the safety of toys. It sets limits of bioavailability of toxins in childrens toys for antimony, arsenic, barium, lead, cadmium, chrome, mercury and selenium. This ensures that possible stress on children caused by toxic elements is kept to a minimum. Selectively extracted, 2-way sieved pure natural product.

The childrens play sand is sieved twice after selective extraction to prevent the risk of injury to your children caused by stones. The product is then mixed evenly. The high natural clay content gives the childrens play sand its fantastic ductility. There are no limits to the creativity of your children. The safety of your children is a concern to us. Childrens play sand is therefore regularly checked by independent, state authorised institutions. The requirements of DIN EN 71/3 are met if the specified limits are exceeded. Our play sand is therefore ideal for safe play for children.

Delivery information
We deliver in a 25 kg PE bag, individually packed in box. The sand may be slightly damp. So the play sand is ready for use for the moulds.
