Grizzly Bear
Grizzlys are the biggest bears on earth after the polar bears. Due to their size and frequently aggressive behaviour, they are considered very dangerous in their home of North America. Grizzlys are large, strong animals -- they reach (upright standing) a height of 2.40 metres and a weight of 450 kg. They have a kind of hump on the back and very strong hind legs. Grizzly bears can reach speeds of 55 km of hour. They live as lonely, and often behaves aggressive. Sometimes they come together to catch salmon in waters. As omnivores, these bears feed on fish, plants and large mammals such as elks, deer and black bears. They are also known for stealing food from wolves and people.
