The brand LOGOPLAY

The LOGOPLAY brand stands for meaningful play with wood from conscious plantations.

Under the LOGOPLAY brand, we produce classic board and board games as well as strategy games, dice games, skill games, 3D puzzles, thinking games, puzzle games, patience games and sound animals made of fine wood.

Our games are made from plantation wood from the Samena tree (lat. Pithecellobium Saman), elaborately handmade and made with simple machines. With its beautiful texture and reddish brown colour, Samena wood is similar to teak or mahogany. For the colour accentuation of some games, we also use the yellowish white Hevea wood (lat. Hevea brasiliensis).

With our range of games, we aim to make a sign, offer an alternative to plastic games, and bring people back together through party games in the age of digitization.

Game instructions blockage

An exciting dice and strategy game for 2-4 people

Game preparation and goal

Each player chooses a colour and sets their tiles on their five start fields. The white stones (blockads) are placed on the red fields. The large white dot on the opposite side of the playing field is the goal. Winner is the first to get one of their tokens to the target point with an exact throw.

Game progress and rules

Those who dice the highest eye count begins and draws any token according to the number of dice. Start is the first field in front of the start fields. Players alternately dice and go with any stone. All tiles can be brought into play, but only one stone must reach the goal. Each token can be moved in any direction, but only one direction is allowed per throw. Prevents blocking the path, the token must be pulled in the opposite direction, unless the player lands directly on the blockage with an exact throw. Blockages must not be skipped (see section "Blockage"). Each throw must be drawn unless all stones are obstructed by blockages. Tokens may be skipped. Opponent stones may – but do not have to be beaten by an exact throw and then must be back to their start field. The target must be achieved with a suitable throw. Since every throw needs to be pulled, it may happen that you have to move away from the destination, even though you were just before victory. This makes this game exciting until the end.

The blockages

The blockages are blockages and must not be skipped. Only with a suitable throw, the player can remove a blockage and place his stone on the field. The blockage can now be placed in any field. Except for the first row fields in front of the start fields. No blockages should be placed here. Blockages can be used tactically to stop opponent stones or to protect your own tokens.

Tips and tricks

It is best to overcome blockages by holding your own tiles tightly together (blocking behind a blockage). The opponents stones are most effective by placing a block in front of and one behind them. Opponent stones shortly before reaching the target are successfully held by several consecutive blockages (blocking).
