Wolford in 1949 Reinhold Wolff from Vorarlberg and the retail entrepreneur Walter Palmers from Vienna founded Wolff & Co. KG in Bregenz on Lake Constance. In 1950, the Wolford brand was registered. Wolford manufactures womens outerwear and accessories, as well as textiles in the top price segment with a focus on tights, bodysuits and laundry. Wolford AG has 16 subsidiaries and distributes its products in around 60 countries via more than 270 own and partner-managed branded boutiques. The manufacturer is known for its seamless products such as tights, but also for its collaboration with photographers such as Helmut Newton and designers such as Karl Lagerfeld or Vivienne Westwood.
