Vomex A - the active principle

Vomex A works with the active ingredient dimenhydrinate against nausea and vomiting. After intake, dimenhydrinate is quickly distributed throughout the blood and throughout the organism. The effect starts within 30 minutes and lasts for up to six hours.

Dimenhydrinate works directly in the part of the brain, which is called a refractive center. This refraction centre can be activated by certain messengers, including histamine, causing nausea and vomiting.

The dimenhydrinate contained in Vomex A blocks the histamine receptors, so signals that trigger nausea and vomiting: The histamine cannot work and the nausea decreases.
